Unblocking Creativity in a Concrete World: A Photography & Mindfulness Workshop

Join us for a morning of culinary delights and creative insights!

We've heard "The best camera is the one you have with you" but we'll learn the best camera is the one you put down.

Leave your big fancy cameras at home and bring a pencil and paper. We're going to get our hands dirty. We'll learn although we each must create, it is different for every one of us. We'll learn how to find inspiration around us, and how to protect our creative time. Through light, vantage point and creating the energy on a shoot, you'll walk away with photography tips so basic you can immediately apply them to your camera phone, and utilize them with your professional dslr.

Beth is Currently the Owner and Creative Director of La Pera Catering & Culinary Partner of The Elephant Table dinner series, Beth has played almost every role in the Austin food scene. From learning to cook traditional Brazilian cuisine at Rio's Brazilian Cafe to cheffing pop up dinners with Dinner Lab & running the event kitchen as Chef de Cuisine of The Peached Tortilla, her diverse experiences have shaped her imaginative, locally-focused culinary style.

Gretchen is the founder of Petals, ink. floral design and Grassdale, a sustainable flower farm on 7 magical acres of Blackland Prairie in Manor, Texas.
